Gateway International Slimming Extreme I worked for this company for 3 & 1/2 weeks, got paid for 1 week only and a partial cheque at that - I have the pay stub to prove it. Internet

Worked for Lorne Schacter & company, administered by his EA, Julie, for 3 & 1/2 weeks.  I received one paycheque only, $185. and change, for the first week, but not one penny more for the succeeding 2 & 1/2 weeks!  My last day was Oct 13th 2010 and midaway through that day I received a call from home that my wife had had a fall and needed to receive medical attention.  When I told Mr. Schacter's EA, Julie, I was told not to come back, PERIOD!  When my wife had been properly cared for, I notified Gateway that I wanted my cheque for the final 2 weeks or so sent to my home.  During each and every call to Julie (there were three) I was assued that the cheque had been made out and was in the "out tray" and would be there in a couple of days.  It never arrived.  It's not a huge amount they owe me, but its' non-arrival is clear indication that it never got written in the first place.  From what I can see of all the previous ripoff reports on Gateway, that's nothing new.  Gatewqy and Mr. Lorne Schacter post job openings on the Montreal edition of craigslist - CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!
