William A. Collins (Billy) and his current wife, Sharon L. Collins have defaulted on a personal loan I financed for them. I owned a high end boutique in Winston Salem, NC. They were eager to buy it from me and begged me to seller finance the 30K (7 yrs, 7.5% interest) they needed for the inventory. I hesitantly agreed. I hired an Attorney to review all the forms and everything appeared fine. (The Attorney has since been dis-barred)I recieved loan payments from the Collins' for 2.5 years then all of a sudden they have had their Attorney write me a letter to say "they are exercising their written right (in the Note) to stop making payment to recover from their loss".
They are alleging I did not give them the correct sales numbers. My rebuttal is: I am a different sales person than them, I advertised-and they do not, I am simply better at the business than they are and that is why our sales figures differ.
They have put the ball in my court, I have spoken to several Attorneys in my area and the smallest retainer is $2500.00 for my representation. I just can't pay that at this time and I do not have a clue how to persue this on my own, other than this website!!
I have also heard from several people that Sharon (who runs the store now) has repeatedly slandered my good name and reputaion. I am fighting mad, but penniless all the same.

Regarding the Rip off Report created earlier this year titled, "Gazoodles, Gazoodles Kids, William A. (Billy) Collins, Sharon Collins..."; I am in receipt of a letter from their attorney demanding I remove the content of this website. Unfortunately, per the rules of the website-which I do not have any ownership in, I am unable to remove the comments, and can only post an update to the original content. My comments are as follows;
I do not feel that I made any outright false, misleading, or slanderous statements on this site, I have only expressed my personal opinions and at the time, felt this was the only way to fight back after my substantial loss. I do, however, regret the extent of the content in my writing and do wish to apologize for the harshness of my written opinions. I believe the Collins' and their establishment provide fine service and excellent quality of goods to thier clients and customers, however, I was personally unsatisfied in our business dealings. Therefore, I should have been more rational, and taken some time to "cool off" before blasting them publicly. The old saying 'What comes around, goes around' was not comforting to me the day I expressed myself. The intent was never to cause them to suffer damages, only to share my experience as thousands of others do via this website everyday.
Just for the record, so there is no misunderstanding what I am trying to express;
1. I sincerely apologize to Mr. & Mrs. Collins for the harshness of my comments and personal opinions in my original posting;
2. I do not own or have interest in any part of the website(s) RipOffReport. com or BadBusinessBureau. com or any affiliates, therefore, I am prohibited from removing the original posting per the website rules;
3. My relationship and business dealings with Mr. & Mrs. Collins are probably very unique to our situation. I have no knowledge or reason to believe that either of them are not fine, respectable individuals in the other areas of their lives as well as in their business.
I carry great regret that myself and the Collins' paths were ever crossed. This posting was a spur of the moment, anger driven, ill thought out event in a long chain of unfortunate events for all parties involved.
