GDS Garage Door Services way overpriced, misrepresented the service on the phone Everett, Wn. Washington

The service that this company offers is way overpriced and misrepresented over the phone. Our garage door opener needed a repair so I found this company name online. "tune and lube" repair and that during that service the repairman would also check out the whole system and determine what else it needed. The phone representative failed to mention that there was an additional  $89 service charge to come to my house. The repairman came and proceeded to spend 5 minutes tightening all the screws in the door and squirting some lubricant on the working parts. Then he told me that the battery was dead and that the battery cost about $90 and the cost of labor to install it was $75. The installation of the battery includes sliding the new battery into a slot and then connecting two wires, a two minute job including putting up the ladder. I elected not to have the new battery installed at this exhorbitant price. The total bill for a 5 minute "tune and lube" job was $125.

I'm very sorry that I didn't research the problem more before I allowed this company to come out and rip me off price-wise.
