They lowered my credit and would not give me a reason. The only thing they would say is that they are doing it to all of there customers. There should be laws against this to protect the consumers. I always made more than my payment and even paid it off several times. Is this the treatment we get for paying are bills on time. I paid off the balance and closed my account. I want to file a class action law suit against this company and walmart.

Blame the economy...

AUTHOR: Edgeman - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, May 24, 2009

Donna,

Do you remember late last year when the economy plunged severely? Do you remember the credit crisis that occurred because the government was guaranteeing mortgages to people who couldn't afford to pay them back? We are still dealing with the effects of this and GE Money Bank was right about one thing - it's not just you. I have a friend who had a card with a limit of $25,000 and a rate of Prime + 1.9% and his limit was lowered to $2,500 and his rate was hiked up as well.

Start a class action suit if you must but I doubt that you'll get very far. The bank does have the right to do this.

And why do you want to sue Wal-Mart? What did they do to you?
