My parents have their our family restaurant for as long as I can remember.rom day from day one the account has been with GECU.

BIG MISTAKE

We get a huge bill in fees that wasn't there before. Both my mom and I called and they said that they sent us a letter that they were doing this to business accounts now. We wanted the fees removed since we did not receive any advance notice about this. GECU refused saying that owe should have gotten the letter. Has we received the letter, we would have closed the account beforehand. If a customer has no warning, how can you hit them with all these new fees? We are researching who to report them too, if anyone knows please send us a message. My mom is considering writing to the attorney general. It's one thing to gauge customers BUT the customer should know before hand. Since we didn't receive the letter, we asked when it was mailed and the guy didn't know. Yet they knew when to charges all these extra fees.

We have now switched banks after being with GECU too long. We are much happier now and regret not switching sooner.

A customer should be made aware if they are going to start gauging in new fees this way. They just say they sent a letter and then begin debiting money from accounts. We received no letter at all but they couldn't care less and just said the money they took from our family won't be returned and basically it's their's now.

if you have a business account and didn't get a letter about these fees, call GECU and let them know your concern. How can they just debit money from accounts when the member clearly states that they didn't reletter this letter they said they sent.

BAD BUSINESS AND IN MY OPINION, THIS SEEMS LIKE A SCAM!!!

Crazy fees can be one thing BUT when the customer stays they didn't receive the letter beforehand, it is not right to just take the money from customers accounts with no recourse to the customers.

It shows the greed of the credit union!
