Generic Trade Generic Trade dwindled my account from $3000 to $50 and I didn't place one trade. Highland Park Illinois
*Author of original report: No resolve yet of the $2950 theft from my Generic Trade account
Opened an account with Generic trade in 2012 and placed $3000 in that account. Upon opening the account the website said that there were no hidden fees. the $3000 account stayed at $3000 until 2014, when they started charging $59/month. They claimed they notified me per email of the change. I did not see such an email. I recently logged into my account to place a trade and my account had $50 in it. They dwindled my account from $3000 to $50 charging $59/month for a service I never used or signed up for.

No resolve yet of the $2950 theft from my Generic Trade account
AUTHOR: Bryan - (United States)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, September 05, 2018
Conversed over email about Generic Trade's theft of my $2950. They continue to say it was my fault for not responding to the email they sent in April 2014. According to them, I needed to opt-out of the automatic withdrawal of $59/month for a platform fee I previously refused to signup for in 2012, which I surely would of done if I had seen the email. Generic trade also said that they had the right to take my money (aka steal) because I signed up for it.
