Waiting in my car a person pulled up and said that he was trying to get rid of a home theatre system that was extra from a company he worked for. Turns out he (Like so many others in the nation) was running a scam. I called Genesis Media in CA and they said that these are individual distributors that they have no control over but the seem VERY coached as every complaint throughout the nation seems to reference the same approach... almost like a script.

Feel Like a heel for getting scammed. What can be done?

The guy that took me gave me his cell # it is 480 217 2772. He also has listings on craigslist to hire helpers for $40/day.
