Geneva Watches scammed my father into thinking this watch was $1.00 with a s & h fee of $4.99..sent watch back, wanted money back-claim they never got it and no refund will be made glendale, California

My father is elderly and doesn't alwayas read the fine print on the internet. He bought my mom a watch from this company for Christmas, not realizing there was a 2 week time trial.  He gave to her for Christmas, it did not work-called the company and was told to send it back and a refund would be made. Of course they argued that he can't have his money back because he didn't return it within the 2 week trial period, which he didn't know about in the first place-amazing that they leave out the small details. So he returned it in the original wrapping and now the claim they never got it-how convenient for them. Then to make matters worse, dad is being charged for some lame ID theft membership in Virginia Beach-which he canceled after realizing this is part of the scam. What a ripoff and how sad that this company preys on people, young and old alike.
