Genworth Life Insurance Genworth Financial Services First Home Federal Life Insurance Wrongfully Cancelled My Life Insurance Lynchburg Virginia

In 1993 Me and my wife bought $100,000.00 each of life insurance fron Genworth Life. I paid on this policy for 26 years never late and 1 year in advance directly out of my checking account. My last premium in November of 2016 was $704.00 which they accepted. In the winter Ispend my time in Florida, and that seaon while I was in Florida they say they sent me an Increase Statement for an additional $86.00. I never recieved it and when I got back to Michigan in May of 2017 there was a letter from Genworth asking why I had not cashed my $704.00 check. I was very confused as to why I would be recieving a check from them, so I immediatley called the headquarters and asked them what was going on. They said that they has sent me notice of the increase to a home addres I had three years earlier. I questioned them as to how I got this letter about my $704.00 check but never recieved a notice of the increase or a cancellation notice. They said sorry there is nothing we can do and that I would have to reapply for a reinstatement application. I did and they turned me down mecause now I have type 2 diabetes 26 years later. I am now 58 and without life insurance over $86.00 which I immediatley sent them when I found out about this. I feel very ripped off, especially after 26 years and me not being notified of the increase. I even sent them bank statements showing that the account the recieved the $704.00 out of had another $30,000.00 in the account at that time. I now cannot get affordable life insurance and thought the world should know about this very very wrong thing that happened to me. How many people do they claim they sent increase notices to that never recieved them and then they just cancell there $100,000.00 policies knowing we cant affort to hire an attorney and fight it?
