I have been a working for a few months on Getafreelancer.com. I have been receiving my payments from jobs I complete from clients all over the world. Its only recently when they suspended my account and froze my funds on allegations of having two accounts.
They asked for a scanned copy of ID which I did and since then they have been silent.Its over a week now and they dont seem to get bothered. I would like to warn anyone who is interested in working at Getafreelancer.com both as a provider to be cautions and move to other similar sites. Be warned since a simple google check of scam and getafreelancer brings a zillion complains. I wonder how all this people can be all wrong whereas the competitors dont have such a big number of scam report.
If GAF as its commonly know is not a scam let the owner who frequents this board answer the why here. I will create a blog to chronicle all this and to assist other people who might get lured to this s**t hole scammers website.

This are the updates, I dont know who is gonna come to my rescue here. I have waited for quite a while on this. I guess its time to start a blog to chronicle and start optimizing it on SEO for all to know. My GAF username btw is mullama00 FYI MR.GAF. This is the last email I sent you guys several days ago, at least some courtesy to reply.

in my freelancing career. I was awarded a project by a buyer who
happens to have an id similar to mine and after submitting all the
documents for identity and a million of back and forth emails. You
finally lifted the suspension and I can now access my account. In the
past two weeks after that whenever i withdraw the funds and waiting
for a whole week the transaction is reversed. I am tired of this games
because they don't seem to add up, what was the point of lifting the
suspension and i cant withdraw my hard earned cash? Please give a
definite answer regarding this we stop wasting time.The funds means a

After pointing the guys at GAF to my report here they activated my account and I can log in to my account. However they want me to continue working more for them for FREE.
This is absurd for lack for a better word. At first I thought it was a problem with their system when I initiated a withdrawal and waited for a whole week for payment then the transaction was reversed. It happened again till I raised a ticket only to be pointed to the initial problem we had.
Why cant you explain why this happened in the first place if you don't want to steal more from me by lies that the accounts have been reactivated and only to limit me from withdrawing my earnings. It's either the account is banned and funds are frozen or they are available for withdrawal.
