Gibson McDonald / Gibson Home Store Doubles the price of their recliners then tags them Buy one Get one FREE!!! Internet

A couple weeks before Father's Day, I go to price recliners in both Gibson McDonald Furniture's Glennville Ga location and their Hinesville Home store. Slightly better deal in Hinesville, however the salespeople were not helpful. Opted to wait and was probably going to purchase the weekend of Father's Day as I had no place to store a recliner until then. Go back to Glennville where I live and the next week am reading the newspaper and lo and behold a Buy ONE Get ONE FREE ad at Gibson McDonald for the SAME recliner I was going to purchase!!! How lucky was I! So I hightail it down to the furniture store and head over to the recliner I was going to purchase. On the way I asked the lady who greeted me if she had them in stock. She remembered who I was and said yes she did. However when I got to the recliner I was going to purchase and get one free.....THE PRICE WAS DOUBLED!!! The sales lady was busy with another customer and the other guy who worked there was busy on his cell phone texting so I left very angry with alot of questions. Drove directly to hinesville to their Gibson Home Store. THE SAME!!! Asked a Tracy, who worked there what was going on. She proceeded to try to convince me that the price she saw was the regular price!!! I am not stupid, had my notepad with all the prices written down, showed them to her and she outright lied to me! 

Where does a company get off doubling a price and then calling it a buy one get one free sale. That should be illegal if it isn't already! I really hate when someone insults my intelligence and will never set foot in a Gibson's again. I am a member of a very prominent and large farm family in the glennville area and will make sure the rest of my family stays away too. We may be redneck, but we aren't stupid Mr. Gibson or McDonald.....
