I sold gift.cards.com 3 brand new gift cards purchased at the same time. They only compensated me for 2 of the cards saying there was a "problem" with the third card. Of course, I have never been able to reach them again. I have tried to call, email customer service, etc. Nothing. They told me they would be in touch and were never in touch. Clearly, they think compensating someone for a portion of their cards shows they are legit, but they are not. Do not trust them!

Gift cards.com continues dishonesty

AUTHOR: jesl0299 - ()

POSTED: Thursday, March 27, 2014

Please do not accuse me of dishonesty. I sent brand your company 3 new gift cards.  You notified me there was an issue but when I tried to contact you by email and phone numerous time to find out the problem, I received no response and was never able to get in touch with a single person.

My only solution was to voice these issues on websites so no one else would be similarly ripped off.  I then contacted the BBB of Pennsylvania.  Amazingly, your company repsonded to my public BBB complaint immediately.  In response to my complaint, gift cards.com said you reviewed the information on my case and realized that  you had made a mistake.  As a result, you sent out a new check immediately and apologized. I appreciated that and That information is available to anyone who would like to review.   After doing the right thing, I don't understand why you would come on this site three months after the fact and accuse me of dishonesty.  If I was dishonest, why did you respond so quickly to my legitimate complaint to the BBB?  Your claim that I am dishonest and sent zero balance cards is not true and is actually considered libel.

Attempted to sell us a card with a zero balance

AUTHOR: Customer Service Director - ()

POSTED: Thursday, March 27, 2014

This customer attempted to sell us three merchant cards. When we received their cards, we verified the balance as we always do and one of the cards had a zero balance.

We immediatley notified the customer and they chose to react to this factual information with a dishonest posting on RipOffReport.com
