I contacted an individual named GiGi through Craigs list. She gave me an estimate of $140.00 to clean my home and promised a deep cleaning for this price.  I asked her if she would provide me with a receipt and if she was bonded and she said she was and not to worry. She was a fairly young girl, when she arrived, and seemed nice enough. I was working out of my home and very busy. 

I left her to do her work, after showing her around some, and I went to my work. She was not a very aggressive worker, she did just enough to get by without making me want to take her off the job, but she did spend a lot of time talking on the phone and it seemed like it was secret; as when I walked by, she was quiet. I didn't have time to pay much atention as she was working.

She told me she had to leave early and was not finished. At that point, she seemed nervous, but I didn't think much of it and asked her to please finish a bit more. She did more and I paid her all...in spite of the lack of effort. Then, she left.

I began to notice she had been in our droors and private areas. I texted her and asked her about it and she said she was putting things in there to clean up. I told her going into out droors is not the normal practice of other maids I'd had in the past. I am very trusting and didn't think much more of it.

My daughter came to me that night and told me she was missing some things. I also noticed some things missing or missplaced. I sent GiGi another text and asked her to explain. She told me she didn't know or where she thought the items were. We did find one of the items...but not my daughters medication.

Then, over the next few days and weeks, we found more medication, some jewelry, expensive sunglasses and other small items MISSING from our home. We knew who took them, but there is no way to prove it. No one else had access to our private areas. Now, I'm afraid to hire a maid, as no one knows what they will take. 

She was willing to take our things, but not willing to take responsibility for what she did. So, I'm not willing to give up letting everyone know that GiGi is a theif! I called the police and there is not much they can do, as no one has her address. She also didn't give me the receipt she promised to send...before she left my home. I think she works illegally and I will also try to report her to the IRS and other organizations; as an illegal entity doing business without a license! 

Please don't allow her in your home. She advertises on Craigs list and tries to get into the nicer homes! She has quite a scam going on and I wonder what she does with all the drugs she steals. She stole a lot of our prescriptuion drugs! 

I hope this post helps someone else NOT to be ripped off by this queen of theft! She's certainly NOT the queen of clean!
