GE Stainlessinless Steel Refrigerator Rusty Stainless Steel Doors not covered by Mfr Warranty Internet

My GE stainless steel side-by-side refrigerator is less than 1 year old and still under the GE warranty.  The front of the stainless steel doors developed rust spots all over them.  I called GE, they sent out a technician and he told me that these are "normal" and that I had to buy a special cleaner for the refrigerator and my other stainless steel GE appliances (dishwasher & microwave).  I didn't believe him so I checked the manual and nothing mentioned about special cleaners or rust in the Care section. 

So I called GE.  I spoke with 2 "Customer Advocates" who told me that rust is not covered by the warranty and that "it's all up to you" when it comes to dealing with the rust.  I would never buy another GE product again and I suggest that all readers of this review strongly consider what has happened to me in this situation before buying a GE product, particularly if it is a stainless steel product.
