Girls Gone Wild & GGW/MRA Video is a ripoff; they charged me for more video that i didn't want & refused to cancel. Hollywood, California
FOX 6 investigative reporter John Mattes first broke the story how Girls Gone Wild was marketing videos for only $9.99 consumers found the company tacking on huge fees. Thousands of consumers called it a rip-off on ripoffreport. After our story aired an attorney sued calling it deceptive advertising. Video part 1 Video part 2
I purchased the video as a gag gift and then i notice they keep sending videos that I don't want and charging me $24.98 a month.
I then call their "customer service" center and ask them to cancel whatever subscription they have place me on and the guy on the phone says, "well the only way we can cancel this is if you buy 4 more videos for $39.99".
Are they crazy? I tell the guy no and he says that they can't promise my "membership" will be cancelled unless I by the videos. I would love to sue the pants off this company if I only could!!!
