Bruce Aldrich entered into a contract with Giroux Landscaping, LLC to provide a green lawn for the property located at (((REDACTED))), Deep River, CT  06417.  Parties agreed the best option for a quick, green lawn would be to Hydoseed and install an irrigation system.  Other general landscaping services were also agreed upon for a total amount of $9,165.24

Two payments, totaling $5,000, were made by Bruce Aldrich to Giroux Landscaping, LLC.  However, 25% of the lawn, the part closest to the house, either did not grow or grew as weeds.  Thus, the original contact mentioned above was not fulfilled.

Giroux Landscaping, LLC put a lien on the house to obtain full payment even though the Hydoseed grass did not grow or was weeds, the additional landscaping services were never provided and they installed an irrigation system that drained the well.  We attempted numerous times to work with them so they would get paid in full and we would at least have a lawn that was green.  They would not even consider working with us.

We ended up having to hire a lawyer and paid $3,000 in lawyer fees.  We paid him $2,485 out of the $4,165.24 we owed him.  However, it cost us more in lawyer fees.
