I paid Glenn Neiger $1,250 dollars for a down payment on building a web and mobile app for our business. I paid him in December of 2016 with his promise of an application by May 2017. He was awful about communicating with me and would often not respond to my emails/texts/calls for days. I had offered him 20% equity of our project as well with his guarantee he would deliver a great product.

In April he he build a landing page that probably took him an hour to do. It was so pathetic but 13 year old could have designed a better site. He is the worst person to do business with and his skills are a sham. He mentioned to me that anothe client was sueing him and this should have been the writing on the wall before I went into agreement with him.

When May rolled up I asked him for a refund of the $1250 dollars and he said "sue me". He clearly is just out to take from people and never intends to build anything. He is a joke of a developer and a greedy man.

Be warned, he will not deliver results nad he will not return calls or emails. He is a scam artist.

Warning: Curtis Barrett scam artist - Kindpoints.com

AUTHOR: Glenn - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, August 28, 2017

Be warned read this warning before doing any business with a scam artist like pro scam artist Curtis Barrett of KindPoints.com. Be very careful in any business dealings with this person or kindpoints.com.

Was hired to do a website, android and ios apps for kindpoints.com for Curtis Barrett. He was excited about his idea and wanted a landing page so he could show people as the website was being developed. I created a landing page website and he was excited about it he said “wow you nailed it”. The agreement was for an amount of money and 20% of this business. The amount asked in payment was a super small amount with the idea that the business would grow and the 20% ownership would pay later for the many hours invested in creating everything to be compensated later for the hours spent. If any additional comments are made on this regarding this lie from Curtis I will post the emails I received from Curtis for all communications to expose how he really is.

I was busy working on the website for this client when I get an email saying that he wants his money back and threatened to sue me. I had already worked too many hours for this client above and beyond the money that he had given to me or that I was charging. I didn’t return the money that I was paid as I was taken advantage of with a dishonest intent from Curtis who had the intent to never give 20% of the business. Curtis threatened suing me if I didn’t give back the money. I don’t work for free even though I basically did for Curtis. I wasn’t concerned about the threats as I was going to counter sue him for unpaid hours worked on the project at a normal rate and maybe for additional damages if this isn’t removed.

I spent more hours than I was going to be paid for the entire project if paid up to the point that I stopped working on this project. If paid an hourly basis would be well over $5000 in addition to the small amount received for the time spent working on the website, mobile apps and landing page in addition to time spent working on bad graphic files received from Curtis.

Curtis is one of the craziest clients I have ever worked with. He would go crazy with contacting me all the time even during my normal job hours. After I would talk to him he would calm down for a day or two and start doing the same things. He is super paranoid and doesn’t trust someone to do the work and has to be in constant contact every second which is not healthy for a partnership with someone like Curtis. He was for sure a partner I didn’t care to do any business with or associate with if I had only known in advance. The crazy thing is also that doesn’t make sense to me is that he runs his own employment agency TEMA and doesn’t understand if people do work they should be paid for their time if an agreement suddenly changes.

Glenn Neiger
