I had a card through Global Cash Card because thats the only thing my employer does for payroll.  A couple of months ago my neighbors kids stole my card when I was babysitting them and used it to buy games for their computer.  I called them and told them abou twhat happened and they told me that I needed to contact the merchant and request a refund.  They also cancelled my card so nothing else would happen.  So I contacted the merchant and told them what the situation was and they told me I would get a refund within 3-5 business days.  3-5 business days turns into 2-3 weeks, then to a month.  During this time I was constantly calling Global Cash Card asking what was going on.  They all gave me different stories and then it went to they had not receive it.  

So I then talked to several people in the dispute department and they told me that I needed to contact the merchant to get the information about the refund so they could "find it".  All lies.  Eventually I just had to get the BBB involved because it was obvious they were not going to give me my money back.  

A couple of weeks ago I get a phone call from Global Cash Card saying they found the refund.  This was on a Thursday. I was going to RECEIVE the card within 7-10 business days.  Now obviously this was before the 4th of July and weekends don't count as business days.  I've had cards from other merchants like Green Dot and when I had to replace a card I actually got it within 7-10 business days.  Its been 14 days and no card yet.  Being in Texas I can say ya it will take some time for it to go from California to Texas but I have received dozens of letters/packages from California way faster than what Global Cash Card is saying.  This company is nothing but liars sitting behind a computer thinking they're the best but in reality they're nothing but a bunch of crooks.

Sounds like Global Cash Card

This sounds like Global Cash Card, the recruit these "potentially" legal and barely proficient in English customer service reps who do not want to do their job. I am sure somewhere along the line you requested a supervisor and if tradition proves correct you were placed on hold and then told the supervisors were busy and were unable to talk which is call center speak for the supervisor doesnt want to talk to you.  Each representative will lie to you or at the very least give you a different answer in regards to your account.

There obviously is no universal training or if there is then it's standards are far from enforced because at my call center I know each of my people receives the same training to be on the same level and I enforce it through an extensive QA process to ensure that they are "feeding customers crap". Obviously Global Cash Card does not have the same level of respect and care for their people or customers because by making a universal standard and ensuring each of them holds to it then it will reduce the amount of anger each rep receives when they have to explain the previous representative got it wrong and now the customer is exposed to yet another story.
