Global check is a check guarantee service for merchants. However, once you sign up they'll use every excuse imaginable, and then some, to not pay. Their rules are ambiguous, arbitrary and opaque. I worked for them for a short while - and of course ended up leaving when they refused to honor the commissions/residuals on my own contract.
They are the worst group of slackers I've ever run across. To try to get something done, like have them stop double billing a merchant, change a clerical mistake, or to pay something that they owe is worse than pulling teeth - I speak with the salesmanager directly, who will promise to do something and then never do it. I'd have to call about 5-10 times on the same matter to try to get something simple done. Terrible company - stay away..

The sales agent, SP (Steve Pinto) was terminated in June because he turned in a falsified sales contract. He submitted a contract for an auto repair business that was signed by an employee who was not an authorized signer for the company. He was paid a commission by us for this contract. The true owner contested the obligation months later and refused to pay for service. Steve did not return the commission we paid him for the sale nor did he respond to our inquiries concerning the matter. One rule is quite clear. The owner of the company must sign for service. We have the letter from the company who states the contract turned in by Steve Pinto was unauthorized if anyone wants to see it.

What you see a lot on this website is people writing false reports because they were the rip off artists and they were caught. For example, you'll see a lot of that in "Car Financing" where somebody will claim the subprime lender is attempting to extort more money from the deadbeat borrower. Reality is the deadbeat borrower doesn't like the collections calls or repo and attempts to "get even" with some childish false report. When somebody, like me or many others finds major discrepancies in their posting they get nasty. So in all probability this is the same case!

My company is an independent Sales Office for Global Check Services. We have companies all over the US that use their check guaruntee services and payment plan option. None of my customers have any problems and when one does come up, Global Check is right on top of it. Most problems are resolved within 24 hours.
I get all the money I'm owed every week and monthly. I've never been cheated in any way. I've even resold merchants who had a bad experience with Global Check and they love them. Let's face it, most companies including my own aren't perfect and we do make mistakes, but that doesn't make us rip off artest.
Not sure what happen with you, but Global Check is one of the best companies that my companies has sold for.
