I have been looking for a new job, and found this entry on craigslist: "Customer Service Rep./Admin. Assist./Receptionist/Payroll/Office Mgr. (Syracuse,NY)?" for 21.70 an hour.   Sounded good to me!  I sent a very professional cover letter and resume, and 2 days later rec'd this e-mail:

Dear applicant we apologize for the delay in response as in regards to your resume that was forwarded to our hiring department, The Hiring Desk of G.F.I company has reviewed your resume and we believe you have the required qualifications to proceed. This is a Receptionist/Medical data entry/administrative position, Working hours are from 8am-3pm, Monday-Friday. The starting pay is $21.7 /hr for this data entry/administrative position, you are also expected to come online through Yahoo Messenger during working hours.
 
       I want you to setup a yahoo messenger and if you got one already use it, add Mrs Angela Harper the Hiring Manager and IM her on this ID ( interviewdesk70@yahoo.com ) asap for the interview/briefing and comprehensive job details.This is our first step to proceed further. she will be online waiting for you.

I'm a Professional Computer Geek, and as soon as I read this, I knew something was fishy, but because I've sent out soo many resumes I couldn't remember if this was a work at home position, (as I did apply to 1) and thought if it was the work at home position, then doing an interview online might not be soo out of the ordinary, especially if they are in a different state.  So I started research on the company, as I do with all companies before I do an interview, to get a feel for them....and found NOTHING...except scam reports!!    Their are other reports on this website, but they are listing a website www.globalfinancialinc.com.   Notice that the e-mail says Global FINANCAIL Inc.  Not Global FINANCE Inc!  This website is not there's, it's another company's, FYI!  I did not respond after reading all the scams.
