I got through the odd process of the first and second round interviews with Global Marketing Solutions. Their so called attractive training programme got me in. It was explained on a napkin in a local caffee. My eager ability to learn didn't protect me from this challenging experience. From that day on my life has changed into running days with no ends. The goal was the only one: leave the field asap and let the others to make it for you while you will be smiling on your profit.

Ideally, we were supposed to grow through the door-to-door sales into managers of the same kind of the company. Affiliate branches as they call them. Realistically, there were dozen of people showing and disapperaing every single day. The staff turn over was huge.

I was paid strictly and only for what I sold. On this level of the training I was self-employed which means no responsibility of the company for me at all. Despite this fact I have never seen a payslip or any other report to confirm what I got payed for. In fact the working hours were so crazy that people didn't have any time to check out or count what they got payed for. It may sound a bit weird but in fact it was true. Starting roughly at 10 a.m. and finish at 10 p.m. was not that bad yet.

It happened couple of times I checked the number of the sold apps and the amout of money I got payed and realised there was something wrong about it. Anytime me or my colleagues complained to the manager Justin Cobb there seemed to be a huge openess and explanation for everything but at the end none of us has ever seen those financial report. And yet, there was some sort of guilt feelings in the air whenever it came to complaining about money. The thing was that you were supposed to be there for the so called managerial role not for those money...

Anyway, after I left the company (...) I didn't get paid for my last week. When I imagined how hard I worked for those agreements I felt angry but still decided to let go. Later I spoke to couple friends who decided for one reason or the other to leave the company, too. All of them had money issues with Justin Cobb who never payed them wether for their training as promised or for their hard work in the field...
