Global Water Fathom Global Water Company Scam, Claims that customer gave them wrong acct. number on echeck to incur returned check fees. Does not send out bill on time and sometimes with wrong amount. Outragous fees untr Phoenix, Arizona

I have read many bad reports about this Global Water company. Now after living in the city of Maricopa, Az for 3 years I found out first hand that this company is a rip-off scam artist daily at work. One might think they are taught to scam their customers deliberately.

First I would like to mention the very very poor quality water they provide us with which. I plan on reporting Global Water to environmental control for that issue.

My next complaint is that I pay my bill with a over the phone payment by check. They call this an e-check with an ACH withdrawal from your account. They take the info. that you provide them with, routing and account number of the check. (They claim they record these calls keep in mind) Now here is where the scam comes into play. They change one of the numbers on the accounts number of the check so they will incur a return check fee of $30. They did this once to me so I thought it may have been my fault so I paid the fee. After that I have been extra careful to make sure I give them each number slowly on eat a time. Of course they read it back to you and by doing that they give you a sense of security, so you think? Some female rep. took all my info. read it back to me and they claimed the last number was wrong on the check, I asked her to read it back to me three times just to make sure she had it right. They incurred $30 again now, I am aware of what they are up to and after reading all these other reports about them, I am sure this is no mistake! I mentioned above about them recording the calls so I questioned them about this issue. They told me that they didn't record that part of the call. Gee I wonder why? My advice to everyone who has Global Water as their provider, BEWARE!! Pay your bill in person in cash and have them give you a receipt. Don't forget to look it over as well.
