Like many others, I have been scammed by Global Discount Travel. They send you an invitation to come to a 90 minute presentation and receive your "free" gift even if you don't purchase anything.

The "free" airline fare for 2 people is anything but free and you have to give them multiple dates 45 days apart and they don't have to advise you of the approved date until 14 days before you leave. 2 of the 3 dates I requested have passed without a word form Millenium so I am assuming I will get the third date. Adam at the office in Crystal Lake assured me that is all the "rules" are followed I will receive my tickets.

I looked online to see where I could go with the purchase because in the meeting you can go "ANYWHERE"!! If it's a place out of the ordinary for them it's just considered a premier week and uses 2 stars. It's a joke, you can't go anywhere. They offer no place in Wisconsin Dells, a HUGE vacation destination in this area, the closets and only place is about a two hour drive from the Dells.

I will be going to Virginia Beach, also a HUGE vacation destination and they have nothing there either...surprise, surprise. The closest location available is Williamsburg (over an hour drive). How convenient??? ITS NOT!!!

I actually called the office, cancelled my membership with Adam, he said he would have someone from corporate call me to cancel it because there was NO WAY to cancel this within 3 days because of the weekend. Judy from the corporate office in FL actually did call me and "Pretended" to cancel the charge just to have it show up on my credit card again. I am disputing this charge with my bank but I am REALLY interested in filing a class action lawsuit but I have no idea where to start. This is a total scam and it's been going on for years. It's time we ALL get our money back and shut this company down. Does anyone know how to file a class action or where to begin?
