GoDaddy.com

I purchased a domain FashionPoppy.com from Go Daddy. I let it sit and didn't do anything with it because, I was still thining about what I would use the domain for (fashion, cosmetics, blogging, etc.)

I received an e-mail from Go Daddy stating I received a refund months after I had purchased the domain. I went to log into GoDaddy and my account stated that I didn't have any domains. I had purchased a domain and the e-mail forwarding service during an internet sale for .99

None of the customer service people could figure out what the problem was. Some had seen that I indeed purchased the domain FashionPoppy and some didn't see that I had purchased it only that I received a credit return for a domain called FashionPoppy.

One customer service agent had reinstated the purchase and charged the same credit card and promised that "I was good to go." I had to fax a photo I.D. and copy of credit card.

When I went to log onto GoDaddy I was then having troubles with signing on. My password wasn't working. I had even had my password sent to me from their 'forget password' option.

I had to contact Go Daddy again and one customer service agent couldn't find my account. I called right back to get another agent and and he found my account and reset my password. After logging in.. there was no domain listed.

I went onto WhoIs.Net and typed in FashionPoppy.com. That website was sold underneath me. I had purchased it first and within a few days, GoDaddy had sold the website. I have my receipts, I also have screen shots of my transaction and account information. Go Daddy ripped me off and tried to erase my accountn as if I had never contacted them.

I will never go do business with GoDaddy.com ever again. Shameful practices. If it were a computer glitch then they should explain the situation and offer a customer some sort of compensation or a free domain.

You've been warned. Do not purchase from GoDaddy.com
