GoBig Network is nothing but a complete fraud. I made the mistake of signing up with them a couple years ago, paid a few hundred dollars, and discovered that all of the alleged "investor" contacts on their site are either entirely fabricated or were SEVERAL YEARS outdated. No joke.

I cross-referenced many of the names online, and many of the companies represented in the GoBig Network system had literally gone out of business more than five years earlier. The last known existance of some entities went back as far as 2002 and 2003. I called and argued with the con artist "Will Stubbs" a.k.a. "Wil Schroter" on the phone. (WStubbs@GoBigNetwork.com) He gave me a bunch of hype and excuses about the website needing a re-design and that their database "may" need some cleanup. He claimed it was in the process. He claimed he would issue a refund. Did he?: NOPE.

Fast-forward a year or two.

Around a year ago in 2009 I actually forgot about why I had been disgusted with them originally when, believe it or not- I made the same stupid decision to subscribe once again. I wasted countless hours researching and sending correspondence to the fake investors. Do you want to know how many investors responded in the two total years of my subscriptions? ZERO. I repeat... ZERO.

So, I called again and talked to the same idiot on the phone once I quickly re-learned why I was so disgusted with being scammed the first time. Again, nothing but excuses and more self-righteous justification for stealing your money.

To make a long story short- NEVER give GoBig Network a single dollar or you will walk away with absolutely nothing- and waste every moment you spend on their site. It is definitely time for a class-action lawsuit. Those interested please respond to this post.

You may as well just disregard the next post from GoBig Network which will look like the ones they paste into all the other complaints, as pasted here:

"Go BIG Network does not directly fund growth opportunities. We are a marketplace where you can connect with investors and those investors are all around the world. Thousands of Investors visit the network to seek out funding opportunities, read the requests and contact you based on their interest. We offer a contact us button located at the top and bottom of every page of our site. This sends and email to our client service staff who then reply with two business days of the initial message. We are happy to help any member with any question they may have about Go BIG, the funding process, and general startup questions as best we can. Furthermore, Our website maintains an A rating with the Better Business Bureau as we strive to make every member's experience a positive one whether they were able to find funding or not."

Go Big Success...

AUTHOR: Client service manager, go big network - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 04, 2010

First off, there is nothing fraudulent about the Go Big Network.  It is what it says it is - a network for entrepreneurs and investors.  We have real entrepreneurs and real investors sign up on our site every day.  We have many success stories - some of which can be found here:  http://www.gobignetwork.com/news-media/Testimonials.aspx

The problem with the original fraud report is this - there is no way for Go Big to guarantee success on our site.  It's totally dependent on the entrepreneur and their idea/business.  Not only does the idea/business have to be a solid idea to get funded, it requires an investor who is actively looking to invest in that type of idea.  In today's economy investors can be more selective with what and with whom they invest.

Because you don't receive a response to your funding request doesn't mean there aren't real investors on our website.  It may simply mean there just isn't an investor looking to invest in your niche at this time.

Finally, there really is a Will Stubbs ;) at Go Big.  I am not the founder, Wil Schroter.  You can email me at the aforementioned wstubbs@gobignetwork.com.  I will do my best to make things right with you.  We have a sister website for creating business plans and I'd be happy to provide you with a complimentary account.

I'm sorry for the hostile feelings towards Go Big.  Please contact us so we can remedy the issue.
