Some female name Sherri has called me twice about a legation that she has on me. I have not spoken to her yet on the phone but she states that the state of Alabama requires that they contact me first. Their address is locate in Florida but they are calling from a 251 area code number. I don't know if this is real or not. Please help me figure this out.

It's a scam

Don't contact them. No one from the State of Alabama is going to have a private company contact you from a company in Florida using an area code from somewhere else.

Lot's of scammers use intimation to get you to send them money. Or they use some sort of carrot. Either way - you lose. Go to the FTC(dot)gov website and read up on consumer scams so you recognize the pattern. It is safer to just not call them back. If they call you, hang up on them.
