Gordie Boucher Ford Lincoln Mazda Sold used car with bad wheel bearings Janesville Wisconsin

In 2013, Gordie Boucher Ford in Janesville, Wisconsin on Highway 14 sold us a Chevy Cobalt (A 2006 with only 35k miles) with bad wheel bearings. When test driving it, we noticed a very slight sound, but honestly thought that because it was a Chevy Cobalt that it was just a slightly noisier car in general. I know the Cobalts are built cheap, but we just needed a basic car to commute to work. I'm used to driving a new, very quiet riding car, which is why I really didn't think the sound was anything. It was very minute at the time we test drove it. But still, if a mechanic really put the car up on the hoist and honestly inspected the car, they would have/should have noticed the bearings were going.

The noise has gotten at least 20x louder. Sure enough, the wheel bearings in the front are shot. Gordie Boucher doesn't appear to actually inspect used cars like they claim to on their checkoff sheet that goes in the window. Any good mechanic should have easily known the wheel bearings were bad and not put the car on the sales lot until the bearings were fixed. NEVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM GORDIE BOUCHER FORD IN JANESVILLE. ALSO BE VERY WEARY OF THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

Also, on an off note, I go by Gordie Boucher Ford every day- and I notice that Gordie Boucher lets their employees borrow/drive used cars that they have for sale. Honestly, every single time I have seen this, they are exceeding the speed limits, and accelerating very quickly. It doesn't seem like they treat the cars with care.
