Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

 This company quoted me a price for a basic web design. Then kept calling and pushing for us to allow them to do more work like editingout an image we had told them to leave out to begin with.We reluctantly allowed them to fix their mistake. They then attempted to charge us for their blunder. Then  called us and got extremely rude and threatened us. I would caution any one being suckered-in by the $50 pricetag, it is not worth the hassel for a quality of design that you might expect from a novice or child. This company is a SCAM.

It also states on their site that they own the servers they host on. A quick "whois" check will tell you thats a lie, they are renting server space and have NO direct affiliation to the host company. They run this business out of their living room. Please be careful when dealing with these SCAMMERS.

Ripoff Report strongly believes in the First Amendment, even when it is about us.  We understand that people who have complaints written about them are upset and want to place blame somewhere, especially if they feel the content of the Reports are false or could have been handled differently if they were given proper notice.  We are, however, pleased when we see businesses reach out to authors, even if it is years later, to resolve disputes.  We believe that all businesses will get complaints.  After all, no one can please 100% of the population 100% of the time.  We also believe that it is how businesses take care of those complaints that separates good businesses from the rest.  

The business representative here, while obviously disapproving of the forum, has at least reached out publicly to provide some information on how to contact their company for whatever purpose.  We think this is valuable information to consumers who may be searching for such information.  In many cases, authors who file Reports elect to receive notifications should additional comments be posted to their Report which means there is a possibility that the original author of the Report received the business’s Rebuttal which, in this case, includes contact information.  Consider this:  the business may have just learned about a potential problem they were having within their own customer service department.  We believe this kind of feedback, regardless of the forum, is valuable to a business.  We believe that many good businesses do want to take care of their customers but sometimes business owners are the last to find out that they have a problem.

At the same time, we respectfully disagree with the Rebuttal author’s opinion that that our site is “virtual blackmail”.  Contrary to the author’s assertion, Ripoff Report certainly encourage users to “set the record straight” and tell their side of the story by using the FREE METHODS available to them before they ever consider other Ripoff Report programs (such as our VIP Arbitration Program or the Corporate Advocacy Program) or alterative avenues (such as filing a lawsuit against the Author of the report) that cost money.  True, Reports are a permanent record, however, we believe that consumers like to see how businesses handle complaints rather than sweeping them under the carpet or otherwise hiding their dispute resolution process. 

It is true, however, that Ripoff Report does offer a few paid programs which include the VIP Arbitration Program, the Ripoff Report Verified Program, and the Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation and Customer Satisfaction ProgramAll of these programs offer different benefits and levels of service which we invite you to review for yourself.  The programs aren’t for every business and/or individual – a lot depends on the business’s/individuals particular needs and many simply choose to go with the free option of filing a Rebuttal, telling their side of the story, and offering up contact information and/or other incentives.  Furthermore, if the dispute is resolved, the author of the original Report has the ability to come back and file an Update that tells everyone how well the company/individual took care of their issue and or explain how there was a simply misunderstanding!   

Consumers – if a business reaches out to you to try and resolve a problem, whether it be through postings on our website or other avenues, we encourage you to work with the business and work through the situation with fairness in mind.  We don’t condone businesses trying to take advantage of consumers – that’s why our website was started in the first place.  At the same time, we don’t condone consumers, or other business competitors, trying to take advantage of businesses either.  To all parties:  Keep it calm.  Keep it honest.  Keep it fair.

Let me say first that I am offended by this site, 'ripoff report'. It’s virtual blackmail, allowing anyone to post anything with zero verification- and then charging $2000.00 for 'arbitration'. Even after paying two grand, the report stays up forever. It's shameful how some people make their living.

I am finally posting a rebuttal, but it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I wish I had any other option than feeding this evil little internet monster.


This report was written in the heat of the moment, during a dispute between friends. Not one word of it is true, except that we don’t 'own' any servers. (We have a yearly lease on ten servers in six cities around the country, solely for the purpose of providing free Webhosting and other services to our clients.)

This 'friend' owns a local computer repair business that I will not name. (Why tarnish my own integrity?) We created a website for his company, and he was unhappy with the price, which was $50 in bartered goods, not even cash. I did about $100 of work, and told him that was all I could do. He got temporarily angry, and in the heat of the moment posted a permanent lie. I’m not even mad at him anymore, just disgusted. Search Google for ‘Gorilla Graphics Indianapolis’, and this malicious farce is the top result.

Angie, the ‘original poster’, does not exist. She is a fake online persona created precisely for perpetrating this kind of thing.

Please note that this fake person posted a rebuttal to their original claim, saying this was an attempt to shut us down for our ‘competitive prices’. Note that ‘Angie’ never posted a link to the ‘childish and novice’ website (And neither will we. We will not stoop to their level), and ‘she’ never identified the name of their business, even though it is clear this was a website for a business.

We have never taken advantage of a client, charge a fair hourly rate, and offer lots of free online services for every customer, including cloud storage, a VPN, webhosting, private email servers, and more. That’s right- if you spend as little as $25 dollars for a custom Facebook header, we will give you access to all of those services for free!

We are loathe to ask any clients to post here, even if it will help rebut this sham. However, if you are a current or past client of Gorilla Marketing & Graphic Design, and are inclined to do so, please let everyone know what we are really all about!
