Grand Prix Karting/ GPKcolumbus.com Bad Business Practices Columbus Ohio

Unfortunately I actually worked at this place for a short while. They treat their staff very poorly (I recommend not applying) turn over rate is outrageous for being open just about a year and some, if you can escape being belittled, fired, or quitting on the spot you feel bad about managements attitude towards the customers.  They think of their clients as dollar signs and not people.

They have no respect for the community where they are located believing they simply do not have the income to be in what they think is a high class facility, but it's not. Now the claim that they are the largest track anywhere, actually isn't true. The claim that they are a destination locate also, not true. 

Don't get me wrong Go Karting in general is a fun sport, and this facility is an exceptionally large one (for Columbus). My point here is to illustrate why most people go, if at all, to GPK only once, and how poorly management treats clients and staff.

Pricing: This place is drastically over priced yet does not have any of the extras that (((competitors'names redacted))) have  who charge considerably less. The Leagues are over priced and you get nothing great. In fact many of the League participants from before had absolutely no interest in signing up for the follow up League.

OK,  I know many of you maybe thinking but you use to work there...are you simply bashing your ex-employers? Actually, no I am just making right my wrong. I did the marketing for this establishment (during the next  90 days GPK will be using my marketing plan)  and I felt guilty about telling people to come to a place that behind close doors could care less about their clients, staff, and business relationships they want money, money, money at all cost. 

Look at the other reviews for this place, they are all based on a lack of customer service or bad treatment. The positive ones are regarding the actual Go-Karting experience itself which you can have anywhere else, pay less, and contribute to a better group of people.
