Grant Instructor LLC / Funding Resource I gave my debit card number because they said for $2.99 I would recieve a cd about how to get grants for single mothers. My card was charged $49.50 for what they told me was a non refundable membership fee. Las Vegas Nevada

I was lead to believe that for $2.99 I would recieve this cd in the mail with instructions to secure grants. Then I discovered that my debit card had been charged $49.50. When I called the 800 # to ask why I was told very rudely that it was a nonrefundable "membership" fee that I had never authorized or agreed to.

When the cd did come in the mail I wasn't able to access most of the information because it said I had to sighn in using information that was sent in an email wich I never saw. I have this worthless cd and no way to access any of the information on it. I want my $49.50 back. I'm a single mom and that extra charge actually put my checking account in the negative and now I have to pay overdraft fees on it.
