I was taken in by a free ad that supposedly gave me a 14 day trial period plus shipping and handling. So for about 6 dollars i should of had a free trial period for 14 days. and mind you, it started the moment i pushed enter after giving them my credit card number not after recieving the product. This was the 27th of january, giving me till the 9th of February. That night we looked at what was offered, had a good laugh as nothing in there could have been useful to us.

Two days later my husband rec'd a call from the company and he told them to cancel his order he was not interested, there was no information useful to us. Fortunately for the company that was not taken care of. So on February 6th, i called to cancel because my bank called me and said i had a charge from them. Mind you i am still under my fourteen day trial period for free, lets not forget.

And i was told by the operator that i would not be getting my money back because the free 14 day trial period was for some other offer that came under the same email they sent to me which you have no idea they are doing. Their free trial period was only for 7 days and that time had already passed. I wanted to share with all of you the email they sent me after i canceled.:

Did you notice this last paragraph it's tells me i have only canceled the Grant Search Assistant that i need to consult with the corresponding customer service team to fulfill my needs. And just who might that be as i thought Grant Search Assistant was the only thing i ordered!!!!!

Here is my reply:

Customer Service,
This email is really for your CEO and Upper Mgmnt, as being in customer service myself, you're really nothing but a pawn in their big game of screw the public just to make a buck club, so if you wouldn't mind forwarding this to them I'd be so totally appreciative.
Dear Upper Moment People, (that is not a typo)
You need to make sure all your emails are not so misleading. I have reported to BBB re: your fine print. I had no idea that the 14day free trial was on a different thing that was under your same email and that Grant Search Assistant was only a 7 day free trial, that is called bait and fish and if you don't know what that means ask a D.A. He'll be happy to explain it.
You are misleading and totally unethical in your business dealings and don't be surprised when it all catches up with you. I thank you for screwing up my bank account, which had your ad not been misleading would have never happened. But what do you care you got your money. So when you say to yourself well you should have read the fine print, I did. But oh that's right there were two other offers under your 39.95 offer, free for 14 days just pay shipping and if you are not happy cancel within 14 days but for Grant Search Assistant must cancel in 7 days fine print. Right You're right I didn't see that. But the woman, who my husband talked to the next day so forgot to cancel my order (that makes it only 24 hrs) and I got *&^*&. Yeah, you're a real stand up Company. Here's good luck to you.

We should be able to tell the banks to cancel an internet charge just like we can cancel a check. These types of companies know we can't do that and that is what these types of companies bank on. And who gets screwed, the poor consumer.
