Is it funny to anyone else that when you "google" Grant Search Finder or the C-S Center, the FIRST thing that pops up is the Ripoff Report? UNFORTUNATELY, I was not smart enough to do my research or else I would have found out how stupid I was being by signing up for their BOGUS PROMOTION. Anyway, I did sign up for the software and was promised that I had a 14 Day trial period in which I could cancel and not be charged. You can only imagine the shock that I got when I went into my BOA checking account only to find out that this CRAP company had deducted $50 or I guess I should say $49.95 after only 1 wk! Outraged, I called the "CS Center" and they knew exactly what I was talking about! OBVIOUSLY I'm not the only one who has been deceived by their LYING SCHEME or else they would have acted more concerned. JUDY, I believe was the woman who I talked to, and she explained that before you submit, you MUST read the TERMS OF SERVICE which says that you will be charged on the 8th day if you don't cancel. She was in no way going to refund my money which makes me believe that they must be hard up for money to want to cling to my $50 that badly. Lesson for everyone...it IS POSSIBLE to make money by deceiving people. Hopefully under the "terms of service" to which she referenced it says "PLEASE IGNORE OUR PROMOTION...THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD START READING IN ORDER TO AVOID BEING CHARGED." Seriously, they are located in St. George, Utah and I live in Northern VA. They are going to charge me on the 8th day? How fast do they expect me to receive their package? I seriously doubt their using airmail in order to get their product to their "customers" quickly. Instead, isn't it great that they can send their package across the country as slow as possible so that before you have time to review the product and cancel, they've already charged you? That's a REALLY ETHICAL business practice!

Reading this complaint and how they stated it is only a scam and rip-off, I question what this customer and the other ones that are complaining of our service expected that they were getting, and the fact that we are in the Rip-off data-base we must be a scam well there are large companies such as K-Mart, Kawasaki,Wal-Mart, AT&T,etc does this mean that we no longer shop there or have there service or that a few people had a bad experience just like in everything we experience in life as adults, I find it more and more that our society is not about taking responsibility of actions but blaming someone else or a company to get us off the hook of making a mistake, The grant program is a learning tool and there is support and coaches that are available to walk the customers through getting grants setting up home or small businesses yes it is a little work and the CD that was mentioned is sent out regular mail but right when the customers clicks the button that they read and agree to the Terms and Service it takes them to a field to enter in the rest of their personal info including the CC # and a Welcome Email is sent out that includes our number and all of their info for the sites and username and passwords needed until the CD comes in the mail, are there sometimes shipping errors yes and we are willing to handle the problems that our customers have as long as they are also willing to work with us and understand that we are a business that may sometimes have complications just like any company or store that exists. I suggest that we should all pay attention and take responsibility for our actions and not just expect that even if we are responsible for the error we don't demand someone else to correct it.
