I don't even know where to start with this company. My mother ordered omega xl from this company in Spring of 2015 because she suffers from bad joint pains. She saw Larry King talk about this magical pill that could cure anything and she thought to herself that she's tried practically everything so why not try this. BIG MISTAKE.

When she first ordered it, she just wanted to try it. Great Healthworks had a special where if she bought one of omega xl that she would get another bottle free and along with a free sample of one of their other product which was a probiotic. She paid about $50 for all three bottles but in reality only paid for one bottle of the omega xl and got the other two bottles for free. However a month goes by and before she could even finish her free bottles she received a new order without her consent and was charged $100 for two bottles of omega xl and $25 for the bottle of probiotic. To say my mother was furious would be an understatement.

When she attempted to cancel they asked her if she liked the products and if it was helping. She said it helped somewhat but not at a monthly expense of $125 a month. So they lowered the price once she said that. They dropped the price to $80 and change for two bottles and canceled the probiotic. She told them she still could not afford that. Then the sales rep or I should say, scum bag asked her if she was 65 years or older and she is. He then offered her two bottles for $60 because he gave her a "senior citizens" discount but that he would not charge or send her anything to give her some time to think about it. She thought that was nice of him and said she will callback if she wants it.

My mother never called back but in August they sent her those two same bottles at the "senior citizens" discounted rate. My mother was not expecting the charge and overdrafted on her account. My mother lives off of her social security so if my wife and I don't help her with her monthly expenses she would not be able to survive. She called to cancel yet again and demanded a refund but they somehow talked her into staying by lowering her to one bottle for $25 and sending her  free bottle while switching her shipments to every two months. My mother is 87 years old and has a good heart so she trusted these people. What's sad is that it seems as if they pray on senior citizens because she felt that was a great idea but did not realize she was still going to have difficulty remembering when these shipments would come in. She eventually overdrafted twice, once in December and the other in February because of these exact charges.

I personally decided to call and cancel it myself and can you believe they attempted to "give me a free bottle" in order to keep her business! This place is all about scamming and taking full advantage of the unsuspecting. I canceled everything and would not recommend this place to anyone. In addition, my mother's doctor said omega is an okay supplement but even  at $25 for 60 pills is far too much money. There are cheaper omega 3 alternatives that produce the same if not similar benefits for the same price but with far more pills in  the bottle. My mother now has a 160 pill count bottle of omega 3s that she got for $19.99 and she said she can't even tell the difference. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY BY ALL MEANS!
