True conartist. Knew the timeline for filing a claim on a Credit Card and manipulated my girlfriend to think it was always coming...next week.

Paid for in full and ordered in early June was told 2 weeks delivery/completion time roughly.

4 weeks they were behind and being built. - several calls and texts only one response.

5 weeks they were in the box and ready to be shipped - several calls and texts only one response.

6 weeks called his bluff do to no tracking number, said he would sell to someone else. We decided to it one last chance.

7 weeks called and texted from several different numbers, emails and no reply.

8 weeks attempted to contact through Facebook and other means(owner of an event venue he was hosting a tournament at) but nothing, skirted us again.

9 weeks No refund, no communication for nearly a month, blocked on facebook from messaging him.

10 weeks filed litigation against GLC and with the Credit Card company.

 

Tracked down his old part time job at Cabela's in the Archery Dept. in Kamaloops, said he quit to do the corn hole boards fulltime.

 

I am all for a small business owner working through the bugs of developing a business but taking our money to fund expansion and not sending the ordered product or refund is fraud, theft and every d**n reason to get  taken to court for.

 

Do not do business with him, There are guys that are just as good, same price and respect the customer and the business driven by quality service.

Missing Boards

I had placed an order for a set of boards on June 12, received a confirmation email and number. I called on June 24 spoke to someone and they informed me that the boards were sitting right in front of them and would be shipping out the next day and that I would be receiving shipping info in an email. This never showed up, I emailed on July 1 asking about them and received no response, and July 6th and left a message, emailed again, and Facebook messaged and have yet to receive a response back in any form.

There are peak seasons when we get booked with orders, last year when this customer dealt with this issue we were over booked and had to stop taking orders for a while. The biggest problem on our end was that the customer was calling about an order he did not place, his girlfriend did. We could not verify his identity nor did he have the information about the order when he called, like the order number or the method it was purchased. We dropped the ball on the time issue, but the customer was very frustrated with us because we couldn't provide him with accurate information, because we were not aware of what order he was discussing. We now have additional employees to help with customer service, we have an excellent system now to track our orders thru the process and have definately increased our overall sales experience. I understand that we can't make everyone happy, but we appreciate even the negative feedback so that we can learn from our mistakes and make improvements.
