I began working for great southern last week. It seemed liek a decent enough company, the pay was ok but the problem was really the jerks who do the training. The training class began and there weer only 2 people...the girl training was this obnoxious annoying rude person who kept being rude and making statements about me being 'quiet' and that I needed to be 'loud' to be in this business. She made this statement several times, in an indirect childish rude immature way to hint to me that I'm not "loud enough" and need to speak energetically--of course she hadn't heard me speak on the phone just was trying to find a way to insult or degrade me in some form. She kept saying "If you dont TLAK LIKE THIS AND SOUND LIKE THIS THEN U NEED TO LEAVE". (yes professional is yelling and sound like an 18 year old trailer park dropout reject in order to sell water softeners) again all implications towards me...then she kept looking at me saying my name in a strange or condescending annoying way, so as to really annoy me or put me down, and said "do you want to be here"...you're playing with your cell phone and not listening to me.. all of which were completely untrue.. I was holding my cell phone and listening to everything...being an adult I assume I have the ability to listen to something someone is sayign while holding a cell phone, but the low class uneducated unintelligent idiots that work at G southern namely that one b in particular, just can't seem to comprehend that because they are losers on powertrips who need to insult random employees to feel powerful and get their rocks off. I explained to her that I wasn't stupid, ive been doing sales for 8 years plus, know how to talk on the phone and can multitask and hold a cell phoen while being able to listen to a conversation/lecture and absorb and learn the information. Of course being insulted for 10 mins straight and being told that you are 'quiet' and need to leave if you can't be LOUD on the phone doesn't exactly help eitehr...so after taknig enough of that nonsense.. they had me erad the script. They had the female next to me read the script, who has no prior sales experience, didn't insult her once despite the fact that there was nothing imperssive or decent about the way she was reading and probably didnt know what she was doing. of course, me being a 'sales professional' now it was time to criticize and insult me to no end..after being criticized and insulted for 10+ minutes already. as I began reading the script.. they began ruthlessly claiming I need to speak louder or they can't hear me-- despite energy, enthusiasm, experience, intellect... no....they had to begin hounding me the moment they heard me read-- as if I needed to yell on the phone in order to be heard-- which was absurd in itself, and nothing anyone I know in sales ever does or has to do. As I began raeding and had to dodge the insults, a psycho employer behind the other retard there then extremely rudely yelled "I CANT HEAR YOUUUUUUUU" of course which is very unprofessional terrible and just rude overall-- you dont' say that to people ever. After the mounds of degradation...unfounded and untrue pointless criticism, then that, I even nicely just said "that's not how you talk to people and that's very rude and unprofessional"...the psycho b*tches that work at G southern-- all low class loser type undeucated people--hound me on what that means--generally people who seem like teenage dropouts who decided to work for a company have been there 5 years worked their way up from GED rejects, to trainers/managers, who are probabyl in their teens or early 20's, immature, uneducated, stupid, arrogant, condescending, lack class and education, and are on huge huge powertrips who nede to insult actual intelligent employees, then began maknig more rude statements almost exploding...yelling nasty things at me as I walked out almost claiming that that's what I have to take to 'get a job".. yes abuse and aggravation and rude treatment from unintelligent nitwits who feel liek gang bullying employees is a cool pastime....as I walked out I called them "stupid" the only thing I had the time to say and called to complain to the front desk about the treatment I received by these lowly imbeciles....all I have to say is.. if you want to work ni a professional or semi proefssional environment or anything close-- stay away from this company.. unless you want to be harassed and criticized by morons less intelligent or competent than yourself, who aer there to insult your every move or word, try to fight you, almost force you to retaliate and then yell things at you as you decide to not take the abuse anymore....

I was working in the marketing room when you were being trained, and I do remember you. You were the one who was on your cell phone texting while you were being paid $10 an hour to learn to do the job. When Allison asked you to put your phone away, you rudely replied that you had been in sales for eight years and didn't need to pay attention because you knew what you were doing. Experience isn't everything. You may know how to schedule an appointment, a child can do that. However, we have certain ways of doing things. When you are put on the phone, Great Southern wants to make sure you are comfortable...they also want to make sure that you have properly informed the person on the other end of the phone line who we are and what we are doing, so they are not taken off guard when we go out to test their water. When Allison was training you and telling you to get excited, that was for your own good. Nobody wants to pick up the phone and listen to someone who sounds dead! You're going to get hung up on!!! So what you took as rude, was someone actually trying to make sure you knew what you were doing before throwing you on the phones. I have been one of the top telemarketers at Great Southern for a long time. I got that way by listening to what people above me are telling me and by accepting constructive criticism. My apologies that you are not as strong and accepting. Anyhow, at any job, it makes a bad impression of you when you are asked to be respectful during your first few days and you so rudely decline. You were simply asked to put your personal life on hold for an hour so that she could go on training you and the other people you were disrespecing. I cannot say where you have been doing sales for the past eight years, but I cannot imagine that they didn't demand some sort of professionalism or respect?!
