Greatfun Buy special sunglasses and get ripped off bigtime Internet

I fell for the TV ads on these wonderful sunglasses and ordered a couple pair. The price was good enough that even if they were not as described it wouldn't be too bad.

When they took my order they wanted me to give them permission to enroll me in three discount services. I refused and when they called me later I refused a second time. They would not accept my refusal saying it was free for the first month and they would be sending me forty dollars worth of savings coupons. The sales person had my credit card number from the sunglasses and said that after the trial period I could call and refuse the discount services. He gave me three toll-free numbers in which to do so. I immediately called those numbers to refuse the service. I reached two of them and cancelled. The person answering the third number didn't seem to know what I was talking about so I was unable to refuse this particular service, whatever it might have been.

My only recourse was to be on the lookout for suspicious charges showing up on my credit card statement. When it showed up there was a phone number and I actually reached someone who couldn't deny knowing the reason for my call. I immediately cancelled, but this outfit "Greatfun" would not refund my money.

Two addition bits of info. First the Greatfun website is down and the sunglasses were nowhere nearly as good as the tv add depicted. I will never buy anything from a TV promotion again and I advise anyone who is temped to beware.
