On December 18, 2014 I purchased 14 green dot prepaid visa cards from Fred Meyers for christmas for family and friends. I loaded each one with $500.00. I paid in cash. I have tried for the last 3 days to activate these cards but the website and phone number do not work. I called Fred Meyers to ask for help and they said they do not refund prepaid cards and I was transfered over to green dot. Once I finally got a hold of someone the customer service agent told me that Fred Meyers had blocked my cards. I was very confused because I paid everything in cash. The people from green dot said that they would submit a request to unblock the cards but it would take 2 business days to receive the call to go through the unblocking request. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the the customer service agent put me on hold for 20 minutes to tell me that she could put me on a call back waiting list. I have been trying for 3 hours to get some type of help but all of the customer service agents are rude and unprofessional. They do not even give you a phone number where you can contact them they say to call the retailer who sold it to you and then the retailer transfers you to them. Do not buy anything from these people all they want to do is take your money. I'm out $7000.00 and these people don't care. i'm going to take them to court to get my money back. i work hard for my money i did not rob a bank or steal the money..
