We purchased a fountain. It started falling apart 1 week after we installed. Aaron and Brian at
Green Goddess refused to give a refund or pick up the fountain. I had tofile a credit card dispute with AMEX, a complaint with the Arizona Registrars' Office and a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. All complaints/disputes are pending, but you have to fight these guys tooth and nail just to get
them to do the right thing.
It is NOT worth doing business with this company. Go elsewhere. You will
be glad you did.

GREEN GODDESS - CLARIFICATON

I want to clarify my position regarding the fountain purchased at Green Green Goddess. My complaint is not against Andre Lugo, the Principal owner of Green Goddess; in no way does my complaint a reflection on Mr. Lugo's character. Even though I had emailed Mr. Lugo initially, I have never spoke to him directly, only his managers and staff.
Still I am not happy with the fountain because of previously stated issues and not happy with the level of customer service I received.
I have disputed with my credit card company and will let that be the deciding factor.

At the time we purchased the fountain at Green Goddess, they repaired a large chip in the fountain. Once we picked up and installed the fountain, the repair came undone. Additionally the fountain had an additional crack where the concrete fell off after we ran water over it. As of today (8/3/11) the fountain continues to crack in numerous areas and is falling apart. Additionally the Tuscany finish and coming off and the gray concrete underneath is beginning to show.
What causes the concrete fountain to crack, chip and fall apart are impurities in the concrete used to manufacturer, which causes stress areas in the concrete. When extreme cold/heat & water flows over the surface for an extended period of time, its causes the concrete to crack, flake and fall apart. Andre Lugo's response is WRONG .. the fountain sold to me by Green Goddess (and its owner Andre Lugo) is defective .. plain and simple.

Dear Sirs:
The July 15, 2011 posting by KM regarding Green Goddess is not accurate. Although this posting mentions me by name in the title, this customer never contacted me personally and I have had no direct dealings with him at all. This customer purchased a fountain and acknowledged receipt in good condition. Rather than have the company deliver the fountain, he picked it up and transported it himself. In addition, he specifically acknowledged in writing when he picked it up that the merchandise was received in good condition. He elected to set up the fountain himself, and in the process apparently broke a chip off the fountain. Notwithstanding that he damaged the fountain himself, Green Goddess initially offered him a store credit if he wished to exchange the fountain for other merchandise, and he said that he would challenge the credit card charge. Green Goddess even sent four employees to his home and repaired the fountain for him at no charge. The customer sent Green Goddess a photograph of the chip off the base of the fountain, which most likely occurred while he was tilting the fountain to install it. After his complaint, Green Goddess asked for photographs of any defective condition to send to the manufacturer since the manufacturers warranty would cover a defect. The customer never sent photographs or other proof of any product defect. The photo posted on Ripoffreport.com is of the damage chipped by the customer which has been repaired by The Green Goddess. In sum, the June 15, 2011 posting is simply false.
