we were 2 weeks late to get their payment in to the.. we sent it QUICK COLLECT same day as this phone call.. some woman.. whom I am trying to get the name.. got on the phone with me because my husband is 80 percent deaf and is disabled and has bad nerves so I took the call. She got really smart with me.. and asked all kinds of personal questions which I was glad to answer until she asked why i didn't work outside the home.. and I told her I stay at home to take care of him and she said does he have to have around the clock care and I told her no but.. then before I could finish what I wanted to say.. she more or less screamed at me.. well maybe you better get a job.. I can't work outside the house.. the biggest reason is my husband would not be able to deal with me being gone 6-8 hours a day.. plus we have animals and the house to take care.. and him being disabled.. most of this is all left up to me.. plus.. SO, I told her that was none of her business.. and she kept on running her mouth and would not shut up about getting the payments up to date.. it's ONE d**n PAYMENT PLUS my husbands disabilty check comes on the 3rd of the month and they want their money on the first of the month.. I have also tried to talk to them about that.. and they won't hear of it.. no way no form.. plus.. she kept, for lack of a better word, teasing me about my husband's exwife still OWNING part of the house.. as I have asked other people from greentree to please not to even mention her name and it's noted not to bother say ing her name since they have divorced.. I KNOW she still is on the deed.. and that if fine..we will change all that once we get this place paid off.. if we were not so close to getting it paid off.. I swear we would refinace this place.. but we can't.. we can barely get by as it is.. I work online doing surveys that pay a little bit here and there.. and it DOES help us get thru each month.. SO I am begging all of you that have ever had complains with them to also post the problems.. it's important that we stand up for ourselves.. and this is just the beginning for me.. I am going on a hunt for all sites that will listen to me.. I know you may not call this a ripoff.. but I consider it one when I pay my bills as quickly as I can.. .. and if I were';p23
you and looking for a morgage company.. or if someone recommends them.. please.. for your own sanity.. stay far away from them.. far far away.. I bet I got 50 calls in one day after the payment was ONE day late. The rudness has to stop.. the harrassment has to stop.. and if you review this and do not want to post it since it has nothing about being ripped off.. that is up to you but I think it should be on tere so no one else has to be offended and harrassed by these people..

DON'T EVER GIVE OUT YOU BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER TO ANYONE, EVER. GREENTREE CAN SET IT UP SO THAT YOUR PAYMENTS CAN BE DUE A LITTLE LATER IN THE MONTH, YOUR HUSBAND GETS PAID ON THE 3ED GREENTREE CAN SET IT UP SO THE PAYMENTS ARE DUE THE 10TH IF THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY CAN'T DO THAT. THEY ARE FULL OF BEANS. GO TO A HUD MORTGAGE COUNCELOR

50 Calls in One Day?

Why...? Why would someone waste their time on an account one day past due by calling 50 times?

Green Tree uses an auto-dialer that is strictly regulated (I'm close friends with one of the guys who runs it). No account is on an outbound Front End list until it is at least 3-days past due.

If your husband gets paid on the 3rd of every month we can do a payment plan to help you bring the account current very easily. Simply take your payment, whatever it may be, and divide it by four. Add a fourth of your payment to the regular payment you send every month and set that up using our Western Union SpeedPay Check-By-Phone service. It's very easy and at $9 per transaction, it saves you money on interest as well. After four months of having your payment setup through this method - your account will be completely current.

We can setup payments up to 90-days in advance, so we could have you cleared out all the way through February and you wouldn't receive one phone call afterwards! (unless something important came up and required your immediate attention).

Everybody encounters difficulty, but I think you are taking these calls way too personally. Green Tree is a business that provides a specific service. All that we ask in return is that the contract is honored with integrity and we will do our best to help you bring your account current.
