Green Valley clock/Watch repair Ruined a Simple Repair on a Wall Clock Henderson, Nevada

I took the wife's living room clock that had a broken black control bow. It is a $5.00 cheap Chinese part. Due to the woodwork I did not feel comfy in doing it myself. Wife had watches at this place and was ok with it going there.

Quoted me $75.00 which I was shocked with but wife wanted it fixed so I gave him ok to do. He said it would be ready the following Thursday. I called on that day and he said Sat. Arrived to pick it up and I noticed that the whole detail ring(wood) around the front of the clock was lifted up. Upon closer inspection you could see the pry marks by a small flat blade type instrument and the whole ring was out of place. I asked him what happened and he told me he didn't do it, i said it was not in that condition when I bought it in. He replied that he had been working on clocks for years and that he didn't do it.
I was pissed but didn't feel like a fight so I picked up the clock and took it out to the car figuring that I would take it up with American Express afterwards.  
We went to lunch and I found out that she had paid with a debit card as he didn't accept Am. Exp. I was still mad after lunch and went back. I was nice and offered to ay him for the part but wanted a refund of his labor charges, e said he only charged me $5.00 for labor and the part was $70.00, I asked for a copy of the invoice asI knew the part was not that expensive.
He went and picked up an invoice but folded it 3 times before waiving it at me from 5' away. I asked to look at it and he refused. I told him he was lying and I was going to stop payment with my bank and write a rip off report. He told me he didn't care.
I left and after 5 minutes he called me on my cell # and told me not to come back to his store again and hung up on me and wouldn't pick up the phone to continue the battle.
It was actually funny that I would ever think of returning to this establishment again.
I contacted my ban and that process although due to being a debit VS. a charge is a little more difficult can be done and is being so at this time.
Stay away from this guy he cannot tie his own shoelaces much less fix or repair anything. He also sells jewerly, I wouldn have another jeweler look it over before I took his word that it was real.
