Greene County Children and Youth Services It's Okay For Them To Break The Law Waynesburg Pennsylvania

Almost seven months ago, Greene County Children and Youth Services recieved a report of suspected abuse against myself from our local school district. They came to my home that evening and informed me that due to the severety of the accusations, they were putting my three kids into protective custody and we would have a hearing within two days. At that hearing, the children's father and I asked that counsel be appointed for us and the hearing was continued. Upon leaving that hearing, we were told that there was a no contact order in place so we couldn't contact our children. My two boys got out of control after learning this and threatened to commit suicide. It took 5 1/2 hours for CYS to get the kinship caregiver any help and instead of taking my boys to get mental health treatment, they swore, lied to and threatened my children (all of which has been written up by witnesses yet not allowed to be brought up in court) A month later, we are back in court (WAY after the legal length of determining dependancy) and were informed there NEVER was a no contact order, they lied now were we as the parents allowed to have anyone testify on our behalf. Since then, my children have been traumatized by the case worker and supervisor overseeing our case and I have been repeatedly lied to and put through hell. A month after that hearing, I requested that we be given a new case worker and supervisor to oversee our case. We were granted this, BUT the new workers were "Unable to repair the damage to your case" so we had to start at ground zero again. Within this time frame, my report was proven by CYS investigators to be unfounded, yet the county still refuses to return my children. I have done everything I can possibly do according to the FSP and have been waiting for them to send the referrals to have the ability to complete the other tasks they are asking. (I did the mental health evaluation they requested which even while on the DR's letter head, CYS deemed I "made it up", I cannot complete a BRS without a referral that they have yet to send.) About four months ago, my lawyer requested an early review to which without evidence to support their claims, they gave no reasons as to why the kids could not be returned. I went to the Director of Human Sevices as well as our County Commissioner. Still, the kids were not returned, without reasons as to why. Just a month ago, we had another hearing to which the kids were not returned "Because the parents have no completed the FSP" How can we complete tasks we have no power over? Send the referrals so we can! All the while, my report has been unfounded, meaning I did NOTHING to have my children taken from me. Then just last week, we were then appointed yet another new case workeer and supervisor because the current ones overseeing our case both quit their jobs. Ground zero yet again! After speaking with many lawyers and other agencies the county has,it is quite clear that CYS has broken the law by not returning my children to me when having a case unfounded. Yet they are STILL refusing to return my kids! What do I have to do to get my kids back? And why is it okay that CYS can break the law, put children through being called names and tormented by them, as well as parents and familes being ripped apart? Something needs done with this agency and the power trip they are riding. I don't expect massive changes when it comes to how the county or government handles cases that need help, but when a family doesn't need them, we shouldn't have to go through all of these hoops they continue to put infront of us without just cause. It's been almost seven months, in which my kids are completely destroyed, afraid to believe anything their father or I tell them to stay positive, and both of us are at our wits end. Families don't deserve to go through this hell when they have done nothing wrong. Being that all three of my kids are special needs kids, I have agencies in and out of my home all the time to help them as well as I am not afraid to ask for help. I understand that recieveing the report they recieved in the beginning, they were just doing their jobs. But what in the world is the issue NOW? I am a completely frustrated parent with three children that are hurting tremendously and can do nothing to help ease their pain.
