Greentree Financial Group I almost lost my home. California

I was searching on line for the government program to help people how were upside down with their mortgage, it was suppose to be the hamp or harp program. Then I received a call back from this company stating they could help me. I first talk to Kelvin Villa at 800 351 2083 ext 4038 and he told me about this company and requested all my personal information and I faxed it ti 805 512 7907. Then he told me I was approved for a 2.99% and I would need to make 2 checks in the amount of $1247.50 and my 1st payment will not be due until May 1. I kept calling when my mortgage company continue to call me, I then talked to Gia Lugo  at 949 236 4894 she assured me everything was looking good and she was taking care of my mortgage company. Then a week later I received a call from a Jennifer stated she was from processing and her requested more paper work and her return number was 949 216 3621 she also stated citi financial was being difficult and I needed to call them to release my information. I did everything they asked then I call Jennifer and asked if my mortgage company do not cooperate what will happen she said if they can't help me they will refund my money. That's when I continued to call all the numbers in the packet sent to me and no one would answer or return my calls I also emailed them all but still nothing. So I'm out of $2495. I call the BBB and inquired about the company and was told they had a F rating and it was against the law to take money in the state of California. They knew that and they are just ripping people off. 

This Kevin Villa suppose to be the manager need to pay for what he is doing.
