Greentree Servicing AKA Conseco ripoff Company with Preditory lending comments from an ex-employee Rapid City South Dakota

I'am a former employee of Greentree Servicing, and I would like to appologize to everyone whom I may have ever contacted.

The last straw for me was when we would be asked to "investigate" how to get in contact with past due accounts and 2 managers found out that they would start going through obituaries to find relatives for past due accounts and contact them to "give a message it is very important that they call us immediatly". Now mind you you cannot disclose 3rd party info, but the way they get by with this is they have you say "if you ask me where I'm calling from I can tell you".

Greentree asks you to do these searches for neighbors and call every neighbor these debtors have and "go put a message on there door". You call people whom are dying who just had a child murdered it does'nt matter. Now for the really shady deal, in the state of Florida when a forecloser has started on a home if the lendor excepts 1 payment the whole process has to start over, I seen a situation where a veteran whom couldn't work was on a fixed income said he had just recieved $1000.00 and he could send 950.00 by mail because he did not have a checking account and he needed the other $50.00 to live on for the month, well absolutly NO PAYMENTS BY MAIL, you can either do a check by phone and post it tell the last day of the month or you must immediatly go to your nearest Moneygram center or Western Union and wire these funds directly to them.

Well they ended up sending this mans money right back to him and told him they would not except partial payment and when was he going to be out of our home because we were coming to take it! And don't even think about kids they have you say things like, "how will your kids feel when the sheriff is removing you from your home and laying all there toys on the lawn"! Or another thing they like to do is tell you borrow the money sell your belongings. and I don't care about your light bill "what good is lights if there won't be a home to put them in"!

Now here is another thing, if you are on a monthly benefits income what they will do for you is post your payment until the first of the month and then after banks close on the last day of the month they will go in and change the date, to the last day of the month,"so this shows your payment was made my the end of the month. now for any of you who has been harrassed a million times on the last day of the month here is why.

as an employee you have these certain ammount of accounts to work and you have to collect so many on these so many 30 days so many 60 days and so on, for the payments you recieve the principal balance is moved off your quota and you come closer to hitting "bonus". these bonuses are HUGE, and of course if the team hits bonus it's more money and if the center hits it is more money, and if you don't hit the managers start to lose there bonus and they get reamed as they are not doing there job of seeing to it you are collecting collecting and dial dial dial,

You see I ended up having a major episode in my life and was unable to be at work for 2 days lets just say I had no home left, well I was on thin ice already as I had been written up for not "hitting bonus" for 3 months which is cause for termination,I was told that losing my home was not reason enough to miss 2 days of work!. (I guess now I was the debtor)!

So I ended up being terminated and now I'am fighting a unemployment suit with them! When I was working for this company I felt horrible everyday to be saying the things I was saying to people, and telling people on there death bed that I was going to take there home over a certain ammount. when I left that place I had a feeling of upliftment. but one more thing never get terminated by this company. as I think they think you will finally blow your top as they don't even tell you it's coming, they have security come to your desk and walk you out of the center down to the lobby while managers pack up your belongings "what they feel is yours" and then you are asked to leave the building!
