Employees of Toronto Coach Terminal pushed, beat and fooled around passengers
on 12/29/2012
At or around 10:25pm on 12/28/2012, four of us arrived in the terminal and planned to take coach bus
scheduled at 10:45pm back to New York.
When we arrived, we saw a line of approximately 100 passengers lining up
on Lane 9 in cold and freezing weather. Later, we found out that most of them
had gotten there at or about 8:45pm and got no buses to return home with neither
advice nor announcement.
All the passengers stood and lined on Lane 9 suffering from cold and refrigerated
weather until midnight when they announced that due to the back-logged of buses
because of the weather, there wouldnt be any buses until 1:00am on 12/29/2012
and they also advised those who needed not to be back home in urgent to stay
one more night in Toronto. Because I had
an appointment in New York on 12/29/2012, I did not have other choice, but
happily waited for another hour. At and
within the same time period, the announcement asked passengers to switch to
Lane 1, then back to Lane 9 and later on to Lane 5. We all were treated like idiots.
Time passed
fast and quick! At 1:30am, the bus had yet
not come. And, there was another announcement saying that there would not be
any bus coming until 4:00am and all of us were informed to return to the
waiting lodge, or they would lock up all the doors (finally, the really locked
up all the doors). I approached one of
the employees who is probably a French and looks like a homosexual guy and asked
him what had happened and was given with an answer that he did not know. The worst thing is that, he also reminded an
employee not to tell me anything.
Then, we
went to the waiting lodge and there were crowd of people losing their temper
and asked the employees as of what had really happened. The employees, including an Asian-looked jerk
lady with her height of 52, the white gay, an France-Indian hybrid who looks
like a bandit and a Spanish security guard who looks like a gangster, kept
telling people they did not know anything, they did not know how long we had to
wait and that they could give nobody any advice. The Spanish security guard even dared to call
and lie on his pagers that the crowd of passengers intended to accuse and beat
him. Hence, the crowd of people began to annoy which was understandable and
forgivable because all of them had been waiting long hours in the cold and
freezing weather and starved. However, those terminal employees (or, I would criticize
that all of them had the most awful attitude on the earth, they are not human
being but animals) started to scream, yell and bark to all passengers instead
of comforting them. The worst thing in
the world is that suddenly the France-Indian hybrid beat and pushed an Indian
young man who needed to go to NYC for a connecting flight for his new career. All the passengers there would be the
witnesses of the scene if the Indian young man would have reported the incident
to the police.
Thank
God! A person out of our four people was
able to take the pictures of some of the employees (please view the attached
photos) before the moronic group went back to the information office and dared
not to come out. Or, maybe they were searching
the surveillance tapes.
Finally,
two ridiculous coach terminal employees (one probably is the head of Security
and the other is the Spanish security guard) came out at or around 3:30am and
the non-English speaking lady who took the pictures to show them her iPhone
with failures. At the same time, a new announcement provided and said the first
available had come and informed people to get on the coach. The most laughable scene then followed, when
an old Chinese lady who travelled with her husband back to New Jersey asked
when will be the first available bus, she was given an absurd answer that she
might need to wait for another 50 minutes.
The only reason the employee did this was teasing the old couple who did
not speaking fluent English or discriminating Asian people.
Lastly, for
and on behalf of the victims who rushed buses back to New York, I would say no
people will never ever take the routes to and from Toronto hereafter unless
they change the name of organization and turn away all their employees. It is a shame and pity to be Canadians.

You can rebut that these "Grey Hound" employees were compassionate, because the coach terminal closes at 1am and when that time goes, the can leave work to go home. And leave you out side in the cold with no one fight with, unfortunately some one like you took it as an opportunity to do that. They left the terminal open till your bus came, they didn't have to, they could have left you guys out there in the cold.
So I think that shows a little compassion, and we got to be thankful for that. Yeah I understand that your bus didn't depart on time, but if you will know, that one thing thing writer forgot to mention, is that New York City was under a big snow storm that day and they were cancelling all buses going to New York at that time. I would be thankful that they got you a bus that early and kept you out of the freezing cold during that time. Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

It's too bad all some people can do is complain and complain, but when something goes right and beyond there expectations, you don't see them write a one page story about that.

Ride MEGA BUS.
1) Please take an ENGLISH class, terrible terrible terrible ENGLISH.
2) Seems like a BIASED report, discriminating and suggesting racial slurs towards Canadians, and Greyhound Employees. Why bring race into a report. The race, and sexual orientation just destroyed yours credibility, as well as your integrity.
3) If an assault did occur, why were the police not notified with so many witnesses supposedly present.
4) In December, routes to New york City, Via Buffalo were delayed/closed due to weather conditions. It would be the stupidity of anyone to attempting to take a bus too their destination during a storm. Humans do not control the weather.
