I heard about this company over the local radio station advertising computer sales with no credit check etc. I called them and proceded to order this computer through them. This was in July of 2008.

After my initial downpayment of $99.99 and 5 consecutive payments of $29.99 it took another almost month to get the paperwork showing financing approval. At this time they wanted all kinds of information about me and my finances and bills and work information prior to shipping the computer and to verify all of the information I was sending back with the approval papers. Pay stubs, copies of bills, rental information, driver license etc. By this time I had invested too much money to back out of the deal, but was not going to give them all of the personal information they were requesting from me. So I proceded to just pay off the computer quickly.

I then paid off this computer on 11-21-2008 over $1,500.00 they took out an additional 2 payments of $29.99 after I had paid this computer off. I called up on December 1, 2008 and complained. I was told they would refund my money in the next 30 days. They also at that time gave me a delivery date of the computer for the week of January 12, 2009.

I waited until either January 5th or 6th and still had not received my money back. I was told at this time they would return my money within the next 7 days. I waited until January 13th and called back again. I was then told on this day that I needed to fax them the name of my Bank Manager and to send a something signed by me saying I wanted my money back. They also tried each time to get me to upgrade items on this computer instead of giving me the money back. I told them I would not sign anything and I wanted my money refunded if they wanted a fax they should have requested this the 2 previous times and not waited until now. I hung up on this person as he was getting quite rude. I called back got another CSR who then put me on hold and came back on the line and told me that the owner would call me. When I questioned who the owner was and the name of the owner she again told me the owner would call and hung up on me. I called back again and spoke with yet another CSR who put me on hold and then came back on the line and stated that I would be receiving my money within the next 3 to 5 business days.

On January 15th someone left a voicemail on my phone stating that I would not be getting my money back since I had made additional payments they should have charged me $25.00 each time and I was getting off cheap with only paying the additional 2 payments of $29.99. If I had questions to call Tim at 703-955-4001 ext 5111

On January 20th, I called back again. I was told there was no tracking information to call back the next day or the day after that. I contacted Tim later that day and was told my computer had not even been ordered that they waited 60 days after I made the payoff to do anything. He claimed the computer had been ordered on Friday, January 16,2009 and I should be receiving my computer sometime in the next week. I was told the reason they did that was that I paid off my computer using EFT's and not money orders so to ensure I would not contact my bank and request the money back they were waiting. As for the return of the money they took out of my account after the payoff he again stated I was getting off cheap.

I explained that every additional payment made to them was with a supervisor and I had been told each time I would not be charged. Per the fine print as well on the contract any epedited payments made with a 3 day payment time of the request could only be charged $10.00. He then stated that had been changed in September to $25.00. I stated I was never given another contract or asked to sign anything to that effect and they owed me my money back. I was then told they had upgraded the computer to 3 gigs of ram from 1 gig and that the Hard Drive had been upgraded from an 80 gig HD to a 250 gig HD.

I called again on January 22, 2009 to get the tracking information. I was told by the CSR that the auditing dept had no information on that and I needed to call back again the next day. As of yet I do not have a computer or anything else that was promised nor do I have my money. I would AVOID this company at all costs.

I contacted my bank and at this time I will be lucky to even receive the last payments taken from me back in November on the 21st. This company is a fraud in every way shape and form. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD the computers they sell are DELL and I contacted DELL and they never heard of them. They also state that they are warranted by DELL.

Monique, the information for all of their desktop computer offers was tested by hitting the "buy now" button for comparison purposes. The resulting webpages were archived using Adobe Acrobat Professional. You can download these files at the yahoo group fightingdebtcollectors. The files are in the files section under a folder that states "FOR CHERYL".

I hope this helps with your complaints with your state and the FTC.

When I ordered my computer over the phone through the promational phone number given over the radio I was told it was a DELL computer but I received an HP instead and was told they could change it whenever they felt like it as it was their perrogative to do so and in the contract.

We finally received the computer on January 24, 2008. It is not the DELL I was told I was receiving. It is a HP with an AMD processor not on par with the DELL Intel Processor it was supposed to have. I was told up until the day we received it I was getting a DELL computer. Mr. Tim Houston even stated problems with the company also the fact he was worried I was going to take my money back after I had paid it off. Mr. Tim Houston advised due to all the problems his company had given me he was upgrading the ram to 3 gigs. It does have 3 gigs of ram, from some unknown manufacturer in asia. He advised he was upgrading the Hard Drive to 250 gigs from the 80. This was done as well.

The computer did not come with Microsft Works 8.5 and came with Window's XP not Vista. It also did not come with 2 Stereo speakers.

I called them today and requested information as to when I would be recieving my Nintendo Wii and the MP3 player and the 19 item Software Suite. I was placed on hold and when the CSR came back on the line he informed me that the auditing dept stated I would be getting a GPS as the Wii was not the promotional item when I signed up in March of 2008. I then rebutted that stating I signed up in July and stated according to the paper in from of me it was a Wii. I was put on hold again and then informed after a period of waiting that Mr. Tim Houston would have to contact me.

I didn't even get into the fact of the $60.00 they still owe me for taking money out of my act after the payoff. I was told that I could send the computer back since I stated the processor was not as good as the one I was led to believe I was getting. My son doesn't want to return anything at this point it took so long to just get it after I paid it off. I was told Mr. Houston would be calling me. At this time I waiting for this call. A comment was even made by the CSR asking if I the complaint I lodged with the BBB was resolved at this time. I stated no and I would not have filed the complaint if they wouldn't have been giving me the run around for over 2 months.

I also filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs in Fairfax County VA and recieved a copy of a letter they sent to Mr. Tim Houston advising him of my complaint and giving him 10 days from the receipt of that letter to respond to it. This letter was also CC'd to Carol Paynter of the Federal Trade Commission.
