I applied online for some consolidation loans and I was happy when I got a phone call from "Heather Wilson" at Guardian Financial Group. she told me I was approved for a $25,000 loan. I needed to send money to pay for the first 7 months of the loan.

I had to ask my parents for this short term loan in which I could pay back right away once my $25,000 loan was deposited in my checking account. I sent a money gram and the next day I got a call from "Richard White" telling me that the lender needed a one time additional amount of money that would extend my loan for 14 months without payment..

So unfortunately I BORROWED more money from my parents and sent that amount money gram.

At this point I'm out $5,916.84.. I was so in debt and now I owed my parents nearly $6,000 dollars..

I received a third call now from "Thomas Burns" telling me the lender backed out but they had another lender willing to give me a $50,000 dollar loan if I sent another $2,600.. I said NO and I wanted a refund. They scheduled a full refund to me in the amount of $5,916.84 to be deposited in my account on March 14, 2008.

I just tried to call the "800" number to make sure this was still in action and the phone number no longer exists and the website has been suspended.

I am out $6,000. My parents are out this money and I am in DEEPER debt that I began with.

This is the worst scam ever!! I want justice and I want to bring these people down. DON'T EVER GIVE THEM MONEY... If anyone is out there that can help me file a law suit for a company I can't get a hold of, please let me know.

I am so sorry that you were scammed

AUTHOR: Tmorgan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 13, 2008

Carrie, I am so sorry that you were scammed out of this money. I was a victim about 3 years ago of a "company" called Ontrak Financial - same exact scam, just a different name. The story is exactly the same - loan approved, send them collateral, problem with your credit, send more collateral, found a lender who will approve once we receive your additional collateral payment, decline to send more payment, demand a refund, they advised refund in one month, then no refund, "company" disappears.

I'm sure you know now that you will not see your refund, and I am so sorry. I never saw mine either.

It is impossible to catch these "companies", as they advertise in different parts of the US, run their scam, disappear and then set up a new operation in another part of the country.

If I had some extra money, I would send you some - just to help you get by. But times are hard for me and my family, too. And I just had a close friend get scammed for over $3,500 from Guardian two weeks ago (she is the one on this website from Meyersdale, PA), and they promised her refund by March 21st. She knows that she will never see her money either.

I am saying a prayer for your and your family right now, and keep your head up, Carrie. Things will get better for you. God will provide, and you have a family who loves you.

Take care.
