A man named Russel called me regarding a $5000.00 personal loan he got approved for me.

He stated that he could get a personal lender to give me the $5000.00 for 6% intrest for a 3 year loan.

The only problem is that she, the lender, needed some sort of collateral to assure that I would pay back my loan.

She needed $900.00 in 7 days via MoneyGram sent to Canada so then she would deposit the $5000.00 in my checking account in 24 hours.

When I called MoneyGram to set up the $900.00 payment to Canada they would not let me do an international MoneyGram stating this was a scam and that the had several people get riped off by them.

I called Russel back stating what the MoneyGram teller told me and he said that she did not know what she was talking about.

He said that it was secure and that as long as the lender, Kimberly Grant-Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, recieved my $900.00 she would put the $5000.00 in my checking acocunt.

He also stated that if I did pay the $900.00 up front then I would not have a payment to her for 7 months since I put the money down.

I contacted MoneyGram again and the next person again, would not put through the money. He also staed that I would be riped off by this company.

I then called back Russell at Guardian Financial and told him I did not feel comfortable sending the money to him since I felt I may get ripped off. Again he reassured me that this works, and the reason he uses a Canadian lendor is so he could get me the best % rate since US is more expensive.

He reasured me again, putting a "Cutomer Service Rep" on the phone with me. I actually believe it was Russell talking in a different voice.

When you call back the phone number you can never reach a Customer Service Rep. Russell will not answer the phone and they are not an actual buisness.

I just thatnk the honest MoneyGram people who stopped me form losing $900.00 to the most dishonest peole ever.

The sad thing is I explained my finacial story to Russell and he was so kind, stating he could help me.

He could get me a loan. He knew all along that he was going to take my money and run.

How can people go to sleep at night knowing they are stealing from people that need help?!

PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY!
