I placed what I thought was an online delivery order. After two hours and no food I called to check the status of my order. A lady named Lisa answered and told me she could not help me because she had just got to work and had no idea what was going on. I asked to speak to another employee. Lisa denied me the right to speak with anyone else. I asked to speak to her manager. She said they had no set night time management system and that I would have to wait for the delivery driver to get back before I would be helped. I was so confused. I told her how I had been a happy customer for over 10 years and how amazingly disappointed I was tonight's service. She then proceeded to mock me by repeating what I said to her in a distasteful, disrespectful, and insulting manner. I asked her for her name. She gave me the fake name, Kerry. I told her I would be filing a complaint. She said, “Bye b***h,” and hung up on me. I called back a short time after. Lisa answered in a completely different tone. When she discovered it was me she hung up. I had to wait 30 before Brian answered to check the status of my order. Brian told me I had placed a pick order instead of a delivery. I told him about Lisa and asked what my options were as far as filing a complaint. Brian was very helpful. He went on to convert my order to a delivery at no extra charge. Within 30 minutes I received my order, but not exactly. I had ordered a hot Italian sub with mayo and mustard. I got a cold Italian sub, dry, with no sauce. I went online to discover I am not the only one experiencing customer service problems. Gus’s Pizza has a 2/5 overall rating by Google.
