We contracted with Hafley Transport to pick up a vehicle on 01/25/13 from Lexington, KY. On 01/25/13 the vehicle was picked up and the driver Jimmy had notified us that the delivery would take around 10 days. On 02/04 (the original delivery date), I was notified by Jimmy that he was in Montana and would deliver on either 02/08 or 02/09. On 02/08, I was told that the driver had not left KY yet but would leave in the next day or two, and the car would be delivered early on the week of 02/11. On 02/11, I was told that the driver was in Oklahoma and heading towards CA and would make delivery on the afternoon of 02/13. On 02/12, I was finally notified by Jimmy that the car was still in KY and that he had been lying to us the entire time. He had another car that took priority over ours. We still asked that Hafley complete their commitment and contractual obligation they had made and deliver the car as soon as possible. The dispatcher, Pansy, notified us that the car would be delivered on 02/28. On 02/19, Pansy called to notify us that the truck was having transmission problems but she would call later in the day to confirm that she would still be able to fulfill her commitment to have the car
delivered on 02/28. By 02/20 we had not heard back from Pansy so after calling her, find out that they no longer want anything to do with the transport of our car because it has been an inconvenience to them all along.

***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**** They are liars and have horrible communication. Rarely do they answer their phones and when they do, they lie about where the vehicle is and when it will deliver.

Inaccurate information on complaint

 I am listed on the complaint but I am not an owner or employee of Hafley Transport. I own and operate a cleaning service. Although I did field calls for Hafley Transport and helped set up shipping of vehicles. This incident was unfortunate but was not caused by myself or Mr. Hafley ( that I am aware of). Vehicle was originally picked up in an ice storm and Mr. Hafley informed person he picked vehicle up from it would be stored in an enclosed area until he could transport. That one load was,ready to leave and it would be on next shipment. An employee of Mr. Hafley took the phone calls and gave inaccurate information on the vehicles that were loaded and in transit at the time this incident happened. The results of this caused a lot of misinformation, stress and hard feelings. Plus the employees removal. And for the pickup of the vehicle by a different company. Hafley Transport can provide multiple references from one time clients and clients that have used Hafley Transportation multiple times. The owner of Hafley Transport regrets the misunderstanding of thus transport. I myself cannot answer or say how conversations happened between the client and the owner. But this is and should not be a reflection on my cleaning company.
