HAIT & FECHELZER ATTORNEYS AT LAW ELIZABETH J. KUHN I BELIEVE THAT ALL HER HORRIBLE REVIEWS ARE TRUE...I HAD A SIMULAR EXPERIENCE WITH MRS. KUHN woodstock, Georgia

I am a mother of a 3 yr old child that came to Mrs. Kuhn at Hait and Eichelzer for a seperation agreement but was pushed into into a   divorce. Reguardless, My husband cheated on me and felt guilty and was willing to sign the divorce agreement without any fight.

I was told by Amy Brown over the phone in my free consultation that the fee is $1500.00 for a seperation agreement and an additional $220.00 if I later asked it to be filed as a divorce. When I came in I was told that that is not true it is 1500.00 for a seperation agreement and an additional 1700.00 if I later wanted a divorce bc it is a different contract. Mrs. Kuhn tried to bully me into a contested divorce and was rude when I firmly said this is uncontested.
 
I paid my $250.00 upfront for my consultation as well as $1468.50 for the flat fee for an uncontested div. 

 Some of the sentences Mrs. Kuhn deliberatly put into the contract to encourage my husband to fight the contract...such as he will pay $500.00 a month alimony with no end date and he will pay off my car...ect. I asked her to remove them in the consultation and she refused....forcing me to show them to my husband.

I was told I had a complimentary 30 min. of free changes after I brought home the div. agreement. I emailed them about 9 sentences to be revised...most of them only needing a few words changed.

I was able to type these 9 sentences in about 10 minutes and was later told I had to pay an additional $500.00 dollars because she did over a hour of changes on top of the initial free 30 min. of changes...like I said I only sent in about 9 sentences to be revised.

I was intially told I had 60 days for my husband to sign the final copy but I did not recieve the final copy of 9 sentences and it was already close to the 60 days that they "have been working on them." Weeks go by and you don't get any responces to your changes or a confirmation as to when you can get the final draft.

Mrs. kuhn was unapollogetic , acted rudely, and flat out said things to me that were untrue such as "I've met with you several times in person and talked with you over the phone trying to help you"   Yet........I've only seen her the one time in the 1st and only meeting that I paid upfront my $1700 + and I've never talked with her over the phone.

I cannot believe I picked the one attorney who ended up having a whole list of horrible reviews and come to find out those people are all telling the truth bc I had a very simular experience! I am an innocent mother trying to have a peacefull uncontested divorce with no fight at all from my husband and instead faced this attorney who treated me worse than anyone in my life...took my money...tried to rip me off for more..until I had to fire her and not even get divorced.

 I feel that she was dishonest, and unappologetic to say the least. She punished me horribly for trying to innocently pay for a uncontested divorce.
